About the role
**About the role**
Booker Group is the UK's leading wholesaler is recruiting for a Delivery Planning Assistant on a FTC that we anticipate will last upto 6 months (but will be reviewed monthly) to work within our busy head office based in Wellingborough.
With a mix of office and home working within our contact centre, the main purpose of your role will be:
- Planning delivery routes
- Liaising with stores
- Setting-up customer delivery slots, and
- Analysing data and making suggestions to improve the on-time service we offer to our - delivered customers You will be responsible for
**Role Responsibility**
Responsible for the scheduling of customers deliveries within the Central Services Planning Team.
You will need

To be a good team player with a flexible working attitude. IT and good Excel skills are must for this role.
Planning experience not essential as full training will be given.
