Cat Sitting Assistant

2-4 hours a day, work dependant, Mondays and Thursdays with the possibility of extra hours on Saturdays & over peak times.

Job Summary:
You will need to be able to drive and own a car for this role due to the areas covered.

The role requires a great degree of common sense as the first time you visit the clients will be on your own. This will include being familiar with different door locks, being able to navigate well yourself round addresses provided in a time efficient manner, and know the importance of keeping indoor cats inside - which is a compulsory requirement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide home care for pets including feeding, and administering medication as needed, and keeping indoor cats inside.
- Being reliable - if you are down to work you are expected to regardless of illness or circumstances, cats need feeding regardless
- Follow care instructions tailored to each pet's requirements via an app on your phone
- Drive to different locations to care for pets in their own environment using your own initiative (I can provide the name of an app to help with routing)
- Have a common sense approach when it comes to things like door locks and changing litter trays.

You must have:

- Experience in owning and caring for cats, this can be from personal experience
- The ability to drive and possess a valid UK driving licence
- Be proficient in English language
- Have the desire to do this as a long standing career rather than a stop gap
- Demonstrated ability to follow care plans and provide attentive pet care (to be shown on one to one training)
