We are working with a Cloud managed services provider who are currently seeking a Storage and Migration Enigneer.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To provide technical resource skilled in Solaris 11, particularly fibre channel storage configuration.
- To provide technical resource skilled in Windows Server 2012 to 2019, particularly fibre channel storage configuration of Windows clusters.
- To design, build and deploy a highly available SQL server environment.
- To Build, Deploy HyperV cluster with the migration of customer VMs form one cluster to another.
- Documentation of setup and design of new SAN configuration.
- Design a suitable backout plan for the resources
- Check backup and recovery of the infrastructure is in place prior to changing.
- Creation and documentation of processes of builds
- Delivery of a plan, sequences, and reporting to stake holders/management.
- Migration of customers SAN storage
- Change management requirements followed
- Communication to customers for scheduling
- HyperV Migration
- SQL Server migration
- SAN migration (Solaris)
- SAN migration (Windows)

**Essential skills**:

- SAN migration and management
- Hyper V
- SQL

This is a remote working position, outside IR35.
