**Job Title**: Materials Safety Assessment Lead

**Salary**: Competitive

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Lead and program the workload for a small team of material assessment advisors
- Plan and lead engagement with submarine system owners and industry partners to facilitate material request submissions
- Assure the selection of required testing for materials against program specific criteria
- Identify material assessment problems relating to legislative compliance, toxicity and reaction to fire and instigate problem solving actions to support clearance for use

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Experience in Leadership in planning and instigating workloads
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to use a database toolset to organise information
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood
