Counterbalance Forklift/ Telehandler Operator

Due to continued growth and development, WRC is looking to recruit a **Counterbalance** **Forklift/ Telehandler** **Operator **to support the operations of a brand-new, cutting-edge material recycling facility (MRF).

**Role Description**

Our Counterbalance Forklift/ Telehandler Operator role is a full-time, permanent position based at our new MRF in Inchinnan. Daily tasks include:

- Operating Counterbalance Forklifts and Telehandlers safely and skilfully
- Pre-sorting/ conditioning material prior to feeding through the plant to optimise throughput
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are being followed at all times
- Preparing site for incoming waste inspection
- Loading various types of recycling plan as and when required
- Ensuring the proper operation and daily maintenance of the Counterbalance Forklift/ Telehandler and reporting any faults promptly and efficiently to our plant manager

**Desirable Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not essential
- Experience and strong work ethic is more favourable than qualifications as fully-funded certification will be provided
- Safe and competent knowledge of plant and equipment
- Ability to follow company Health & Safety procedures
- Awareness of how to operate safely within a large industrial environment
- Physically fit and motivated
- Strong team player
