We are looking for an Lunch time Assistant/Housekeeper to join our team at Home from Home Nursery. We are looking for someone warm and friendly with a passion for working with children.

At Home from Home our staff are not only caring but motivated with a passion to learn, develop and train. The post is a part time fixed term contract, working Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year either 11.30 to 3.30pm or 10.30 to 2.30pm

The Lunch time Assitant duties will include working as a member of the Baby team between 11.30 and 2.30pm, children aged up to 2years supporting their learning, development and well being within the setting. We are looking for someone highly motivated, with good communication skills and a drive to learn and develop. Energy and bubble is definitely something we look for in our staff and someone who enjoys a positive outlook.

The housekeeping duties will be an additional hour a day to help keep clean commual areas clean during the day - please note we have cleaners who clea teh nursery on a daily basis
- Ensuring the daily cleaning of all kitchen, bathroom and communal areas
- Support organisation of laundy areas
- Light garden duties-keeping the outside area tidy and clean
- Staff rest rooms kept tidy and clean
- To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
- To support delivery of the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery premises.

Home from Home Nursery on Grand Avenue in Worthing has been open for 7 years with 108 children attending each day. HfH is warm and friendly set in a large Victorian house with original features to include stained glass windows and high ceilings with cornicing. A large half acre garden wraps around the building with allotment, potting house, beach and forest areas. Upstairs we accommodate our under twos and downstairs is our 2-3 year old space. Our Preschool consists of 3-5 year old's in their own building spread over two floors. Children enjoy lots of free-flow roaming and playing both indoors and out whatever the weather. The staff at Home from Home are part of an excellent Supervision and Appraisal programme that recognises progression and rewards dedication and commitment to our long term goals.
