We are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 12 month period to enable the existing Business Partnering team to focus on strategic planning and implementing efficiencies.

This role will provide integral support to the Business Partnering team by owning key tasks in the monthly management accounts cycle and year end processing. Focusing on the Commercial activity at the RSC, the post holder will provide first line finance support and expertise to key stakeholders, ensuring that the RSC's goals are consistently being achieved.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, key areas of responsibility include:

- **Financial Planning and budgeting**:

- Producing achievable long-term financial plans, annual budgets, financial and cash flow projections and financial planning information
- Carrying out and improving financial modelling and monitoring methods
- **Management Information and Budgetary Control**:

- Producing monthly and year-end management accounts (using Excel), annual budgets and rolling forecast, cash flows, variance analysis for commercial departments
- Preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to ensure the RSC's budget holders make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and sustainability
- Providing financial support to the key budget holders and their teams to understand variances and implications
- **Business Performance and Financial Evaluation**:

- Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements, where needed
- Maintaining an ongoing review of efficiency and work on opportunities for improvement
- Contributing towards effective systems administration and appropriate systems development

It is essential that you have the following skills and attributes:

- Technical accounting knowledge
- Analysis and reporting skills
- Financial planning and budgeting experience
- Clear communication and good influencing skills, particularly when communicating complex financial information to non-financial departments
- Experience of working in a complex and busy environment
- Excellent IT skills, including experience of developing medium to large financial software packages and advanced Excel

This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in Stratford-upon-Avon, which offers the opportunity for flexible working. The hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some additional hours may occasionally be required in order to meet deadlines.
