**About The Role**:
**Contractor Escort / Site Operative**

**Location**: Upavon, Wiltshire

**Salary**: circa £24,000

**Role Type**: 6-month Fixed Term Contract, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime

The purpose of this role is to provide a valued facilities service by acting as the site contact for external visitors who are required onsite. They will be responsible for accompanying contractors, suppliers and authorised visitors throughout their attendance on site to ensure they can deliver their service safely and efficiently in their required work area. The post holder plays an important part in ensuring that planned and reactive maintenance work at the site is carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Monitoring contractor site visits
- Conducting site arrival and departure duties
- Recording visit details such as frequency and visit duration
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved and maintained
- Professionally represent the company at all times
- Light maintenance duties such as painting and grounds maintenance as required
- There may be additional ad-hoc duties required as part of the role

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Good standard of Health and Safety knowledge
- Good IT skills to include MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and use of mobile devices
- An understanding of industrial operations and experience with contractors
- Comfortable to work in a stand-alone role with limited interaction with colleagues
- Communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to build good working relationships easily
- Full, valid driving licence with your own vehicle
