One of the region's leading multi-award winning Engineering companies is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Welder / Fabricator to join their team in mid Cornwall. Their Duties will primarily comprise of Manufacture of welded components by the safe operation of equipment, as directed. Engineers are trained and appraised to the highest levels. This position offers an excellent option for a dependable, experienced Welder / Fabricator.

Working in the busy Workshop, you will be performing skilled welding work during the manufacture,

**Duties will be varied and include**:

- Weld fabricated components using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG,
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the fabrication process
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using various tools and equipment
- Perform quality checks to ensure that finished products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to weld symbols
- Basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements accurately
- Mechanical knowledge to understand how different components fit together
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment related to metal fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Safety-conscious mindset to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocol

**Job Type**: Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
