This is an exciting opportunity to join the Quaker Houghton team at a time when we are investing to further strengthen our position as market leaders.

The FluidCare Lead Technicians role is to support the Fluidcare Site Manager with all contracted management duties at the Ford Dagenham Engine Plant Working with the site manager to oversee the management of the Quaker Houghton on-site team, by supporting and monitoring all Metal Working Fluids by onsite test analysis.

Ensuring machines have sufficient lubricant supply by regular scheduled volume checks. Complying with Quaker Houghton EHS policies & procedures, ensuring mandatory tasks are completed within a specific time frame. Data recording is critical for ensuring KPI’s are adhered to and presented to Ford key contacts.

Tasks
- Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day activities, and daily administrative tasks using the Quaker Houghton EHS system ensuring compliance and data entry for test analysis in the FluidTrend 4.0 platform.
- Ensuring the site team are working efficiently and completing daily scheduled tasks, liaising with the site manager supporting key operational decisions and communicating effectively within the team. Standing in when the site manager is on annual leave enables site operations to continue.
- This role is essential to supporting the onsite team. Good leadership and communication are required, so all business functions are aligned and kept updated.

- Background in relevant areas such as engineering, chemical or mechanics.
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Flexible to job requirements.
- Computer literate.
- Full UK Driving License.
