Post Office Cashier

POST OFFICE AND SHOP CASHIER COMBINED.

Herron Services are looking for a post office cashier to join our team. This is a split role between the shop tills and post office counter.

Good multi-tasking skills are a plus.

Hours will be between 20 and 30 hours weekly, with opportunity for more hours covering annual leave and sickness.

Shifts are typically:
6.00am - 2.30pm

8.00am - 2.30pm

2.00pm - 10.30pm

2.00pm - 9pm

2.00pm - 7pm

You are required to work a variety of these shifts and 1 weekend shift weekly.

The duties include:

- Till work
- Stocking up
- Shop cleaning
- Cash handling
- Handling of mails following post office regulations
- Customer postage queries
- Customer banking needs

Applicants MUST be over 18 due to selling of alcohol and tobacco products. Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check through Post Office Ltd.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £8.00-£11.00 per hour

- Llangefni: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
