Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives?

Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change?

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic person to provide a range of interventions and support to women experiencing multiple and complex needs. To offer support to reduce social harms such as homelessness, substance misuse, mental and physical illness, extreme poverty, and violence and abuse. To offer both one to one practical and emotional support and group interventions with the aim of raising self-esteem, self-efficacy and enhancing social and recovery capital.
- **Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).**_

The Nelson Trust is committed to safeguarding, the successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced Children & Adults DBS check.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
