Part-time 3 days per week (flexibility required with working days and hours including working weekends, evenings and bank holidays and additional days may be required during peak season)

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

With strong experience in the hospitality industry, this position is responsible for bringing the brand attributes and experience to life for those visiting the estate, whilst maintaining operational capability in the brand spaces including but not limitedto; The White Barn, The Medieval Barn, The Pressing Centre, Mayfair offices.

This position is responsible for ensuring that every individual guest experience at the Nyetimber Estate is aligned with the global brand positioning and marketing strategy, is memorable, luxurious and representative of a British luxury brand.

**RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES**
- Front of house presence including meeting and greeting all guests on arrival and making them feel welcome and managing the full guest experience from start to finish.
- Actively represent the brand to target audiences including but not limited to key influencers, press, trade, internal teams, brand partners, consumers, and end customers
- Oversee and manage the researching, planning and execution of any event, and the maintenance and upkeep required in the brand spaces. Collaborate with the estate manager, estate teams, marketing, and sales teams effectively and positively to deliver allexperiences in line with luxury brand standards
- Alongside the Head of Marketing Activations create a hospitality focused strategy for the Nyetimber Estate year-on-year
- Oversee and manage all in-house event equipment, furniture and materials including sourcing, ordering, maintenance and storage
- Manage and communicate White Barn, Medieval Barn and Pressing Centre agenda to Senior Management and relevant Estate Team
- To provide strong management and communication to the Hospitality Assistant, ensuring a clear working structure and roles within the team.
- To oversee, input and send the pre and post event documentation
- Oversee the event schedule, team sheet and tasks liaising with the Hospitality Assistant throughout the event to ensure the highest quality of service and natural fluidity of the event.
- Direct and lead 'hired staff’, making sure they perform properly, and have input in the selection process of the waiting staff as well. Ensure relevant training is put in place prior to each event.
- Check the setup of each event/tasting to ensure correct setup, attention to detail and host a team briefing with all event staff.
- Managing the flow of the event - announcing when guests should be seated, possibly introducing the winemakers/ambassadors for their talks.
- Accountable for Vendor Relationship management, including but not limited to caterers, chefs, food suppliers, florists, event equipment hire
- Accountable for Visitor database management, to include management of a basic CRM follow up program in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Responsible for our payment system and making recommendations to ensure that we are using the best payment system platform for our events.
- Engage with local hospitality venues and areas, identifying and building relationships with commercial opportunities for listings.
- Engage with the local community and suggest relevant event opportunities to 'meet’ and 'interact’ with our neighbours to ensure strong relationships are continuously built
