One Sure Insurance is one of Staffordshire’s most successful Insurance Brokers dealing in a variety of insurance products including motor trade, private car, commercial vehicle, and home insurance.
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- To work within the Insurance renewals department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner
- To deal with all incoming and outgoing calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- The employee will be able to support the businesses goals by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and will also have a proven record of success in addressing client’s demands & needs on their existing policies, as well as having the ability to handle any amendments
- Offer excellent levels of customer service to maintain client loyalty
**SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths & English
- Good computer skills including Microsoft suite.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills, (call centre experience preferred)
- Experience of providing specialised sales advice to support customer requirements
- Experience in dealing with Insurance claims and/or policy
- Ability to identify and match our products with customer enquiries
- Thorough understanding of the quote & telephone systems
- Display personal organisational skills and time management
- Excellent attention to detail
**BEHAVIOUR SKILLS**
- Handling Information - from current One Sure clients due for renewal, to renewed cases, in conversion terms. Altering clients’ original demands and needs in order to match them with a new suitable contract.
- Analysis & Judgement - Display skills in product awareness and ability to identify suitable contracts at renewal stage to incorporate any changes made by the client
- Customer Focus - 100% accuracy on matching new contracts to clients amended demands and needs
- Persuading & Influencing - Ability to explain benefits of new contracts and One Sure “add on” products
- Effective Communication - Both with internal (colleagues) and external (clients) customers
- Attention to detail - All new documentation going to the client must be clear and correct. One Sure renewal procedure must be adhered to.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify potential renewals from all incoming calls and enquiries
- Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations
- To complete all supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
- To ensure all completed renewals go to the client in a timely manner.
- To support the departmental key performance indicators and renewal targets as directed by the Renewals Manager
- Always comply with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA rules
- To maintain professional competence by always complying with the training and competence procedures of One Sure Insurance
- To analyse a panel of insurers and research the clients demand and needs to establish policy suitability and eligibility
- To undertake all other reasonable duties as reasonably required and directed
Salary £21,000.00 OTE: £30,000.00
**This role is office based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST7).**
