Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a creative Graphic Designer with a passion for all things communication.

You will be imaginative, have creative flair and a drive for innovation. As a skilled designer, you will be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite and have experience in designing for both print and digital. Inspired and self-motivated, you can create mood boards and develop creative concepts from a blank sheet of paper for a varied portfolio of B2B and B2C clients, and with your knack for understanding brands and their customers, you can translate a vision into an emotive and memorable campaign.

Job description

Reporting to the Studio Manager you’ll work in our friendly Sherborne office, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.
- Execute design projects, including working to client briefs, meeting deadlines, and reporting on progress.
- Manage client proposals, from initial concepts through to design, print and production.
- Research and create mood boards for projects based on the briefs provided.
- Contribute to creative team meetings, sharing ideas and concepts for clients’ briefs.
- Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for creative projects, from a blank sheet of paper, such as product illustrations, websites and advertising artwork.
- Work closely with the CEOs and Account Director to review final layouts, make required client amends and suggest improvements.
- Liaise with external suppliers and Account Managers to provide print-ready artwork.
- Liaise with external printers on a regular basis, to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

About you

With over two years’ experience as a Graphic Designer in an agency or in-house role, you recognise an effective marketing campaign and get excited by the latest design trends. You enjoy working as part of a team to deliver innovative, creative campaigns for clients across different B2C and B2B sectors.

You are adept at designing for both print and digital campaigns, from packaging to web design, and have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. You can follow a brief with an understanding of budgets and deadlines, as well as confidently sharing creative ideas with the team.
