**Main Responsibilities** **Main Purpose of Role**

To set up and maintain all Cold End inspection and packaging equipment, responding to and supporting breakdowns to minimise impact on production. Verify Inspection setups are at optimum quality standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

1. Comply with Encirc health & safety and hygiene policies, operational procedures and regulations, including wearing the relevant PPE and being correctly attired at all times.

2. Carry out smooth and efficient CE equipment set-ups, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring good pack efficiencies through high standards.

3. Respond to and assist to set-ups and breakdowns on all CE inspection equipment.

4. Set up, repair and maintain equipment on shift when necessary.

5. Set up a variety of equipment on all CE inspection machines.

6. Work closely with Production and Quality throughout each shift.

7. Record all faults, breakdowns and subsequent downtime with as much detailed information as possible.

8. Keep work areas clean and tidy after work is completed, in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Technical engineering or production background.
- Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of machinery and automation.

**Essential Functional / Technical Skills**
- Good fault finding/trouble shooting skills.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to work as part of a team and also on its own with minimum daily supervision.
- Ability to communicate and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- High quality standards.
- Basic level of computer skills.
