Credit Controller

**We are seeking a new Credit Controller to join our global finance team for a period of 12 months. **As Credit Controller, you will liaise and engage with internal and external customers to resolve issues and ensure that billing and invoicing is completed in a timely manner. Based at our headquarters in Dundee, you will deliver effective credit control to Insights’ offices around the world.
**What you’ll do to succeed**
- Work with internal and external customers to resolve issues and reach solutions which are in line with Insights policy and guidelines
- Display tenacity and focus while pursuing outstanding debt
- Use an organised and detail orientated approach to reconciling and updating client records
- B2B credit control experience (Commercial Credit - dealing with business customers)
- Credit management experience
- Good business sense and commercial awareness
**How will you do this?**
- B2B collections
- Processing and raising sales invoices on a daily basis
- Develop the credit management capability within the portfolio
- Liaise with the Customer Support Team to drive process improvements from order entry through to billing
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices, within company policy and guidelines
- Build and maintain good relationships with all customers to ensure smooth running of accounts and timely payments
- Ability to maintain good relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Dealing with other adhoc enquiries and requests for information as required

**What you’re great at**
- Knowledge of a European language will be advantageous - such as French/German/Spanish/Italian
- Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to prioritise workload to make best use of the time to meet deadlines
