**The Home**

This home is a registered nursing home which provides nursing care for up to 64 patients. The home is divided into three units over two floors. The Hillview Unit on the ground floor provides general nursing care for patients. The Bellview and Coastview Units on the ground floor provide care for patients with dementia.

**The Role**

To provide high-quality person-centred care to the residents of the home, supporting with their everyday needs and contributing to their enjoyment of life.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
- Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved
- Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing and going to the toilet
- Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognising changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families

**You will need**:

- To be a good listener, showing patience, compassion, empathy and understanding
- A good standard of written and oral English
- Experience in Health and Social Care not required as full training will be provided
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Be NISCC registered or eligible to register
