**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for TIG welding stainless steel fabrications and fitting sheet metal components / industrial conveyors.

**Main duties will include**:

- Welding from 1.2 mm to 20 mm in thickness.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools to carry out a number of tasks as instructed / required.
- Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications.
- Endeavour to maximise the best use of resources.
- Maintain equipment in a safe, clean and good working order.
- Any other duties commensurate within this position and skill set required.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Capable of welding thin gauge stainless steel.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing engineering environment (ideally within sheet metal) and similar role is a distinct advantage.
- Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Ability to work within a team or on your own.
- Being able to use your own initiative to solve problems.
- Have an attention to detail and quality.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude.

**What we offer in return**:

- Rate of pay - £12.50 per hour - £15.00 per hour dependant on skills and experience.

**- ** Full time, permanent contract.
- 28 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) increasing with service.
