**The Role**

We are looking for a Wedding & Events Office Coordinator who would enjoy working in a luxury Historic Hotel environment. The Wedding & Events Office Coordinator will work with the Sales Office Manager to ensure that Weddings and all events are dealt with efficiently and to carry out effective room management to maximise room revenue.

**Overview of the role**
- Manage and convert all incoming enquiries in accordance with ensana brand standards
- You will be a specialist in weddings, private events and special occasions
- Produce accurate timely correspondence in line with company brand standards e.g. proposals/contracts
- Ensure all information gathered during the final details call/appt. is clearly written on the BEO
- Ensure company credit, deposit, cancellation and non-arrival charge standards are followed
- Ensure an effective handover between the client and operational team and attend weddings, events as required
- Ensure accurate BEOs & Change Logs are issued to the Operations team on time.
- The client should receive a final event BEO for approval prior to the event.
- Prepare all admin/stationery requirements to ensure the clients event is a success e.g., signage/ table plans/menus/place cards
- Provide up to date booking information for the weekly/monthly forecast
- Attend client fam trips, open days exhibitions as required
- Maintain up to date knowledge edge of all competitor products and services
- Carry out competitor shop calls and visits
- Use all company IT systems in accordance with Ensana Brand standards
- Ensure all legal and statutory are upheld

**ESSENTIAL**
- knowledge of Hotel Wedding & Events systems
- Previous Events & Wedding Coordinator experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, Efficient and pro-active
- Previous experience in a service role in delivering 5-star guest service
- Confident and effective communicator who can converse at all levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
