Food Technologist

**About The Role**:
Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for the food industry? We are seeking a Food Technologist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food products.

The role will be responsible for;
- Managing and organising all technical documentation.
- Handle and investigate customer complaints, logging all actions and following through with actions raised.
- Take HACCP and TACCP minutes, and take an active involvement in both groups.
- Conduct GMP audits to ensure compliance with standards and collaborate with other teams to address findings.
- Log and track trends of microbiology tests and play a part in implementing improvements that are identified to address any issues.
- Write product specifications and approve/amend artwork as required.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a technical role within Food Production or FMCG environment.
- Ability to contribute to HACCP/VACCP/TACCP/QMS systems.
- Experience in operating within a KPI’s driven structure.
- Previous experience within working in low/high risk environment.
- Team working skills.
- Planning and organising the technical and hygiene team to effectively manage the day-to-day site technical department.
- Analytical ability.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Initiative and decisiveness.
- Technical & IT skills, particularly when it comes to, database management, spreadsheets and retailer specification systems.
- Problem solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A working knowledge of BRCGS V9 standards.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
