**IT Support Technician Apprentice**

**Location: RH6 9RJ**

**Salary: £17000 - £19000**

**Office based - 37.5 hours**

**Maintaining a satisfied client base by**:

- Acting as primary point of contact for day-to-day IT Helpdesk activities, servicing all users based at Coinford Ltd Head Office and Coinford Ltd remote sites.
- Providing initial information gathering and triage of IT incidents.
- Offering advice and assistance for all IT based enquiries.
- Acting as a representative and advocate for the Coinford IT helpdesk Department.

**Primary Duties/Tasks**:

- Responding to, categorising and generating helpdesk incidents in a timely manner
- Providing 1st line technical support for all Coinford staff.
- Providing resolutions, workarounds, and advice/training to all users of the IT Helpdesk service.
- Triage and prioritisation of tickets as appropriate, in accordance with departmental SLA’s together with escalation to 2nd and 3rd line support (both internal and external) of tickets as appropriate.
- Escalating to 2nd/3rd line support, where required and managing through to resolution.
- Troubleshooting a range of software and hardware issues across Windows and Mac platforms.
- Configuration of laptops, printers, mobile phones, and desktops.
- Assisting the team with software updates/deployment.
- IT administration (process, procedures).
- Maintaining IT stock for new/replacement equipment in line with departmental standards and disposing of old/redundant equipment in accordance with specified procedures/regulations.
- The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required from time to time, to carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by your line manager, as required to maintain an efficient IT Helpdesk function._

**Salary**: £17,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
