We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our team.

As an Accounts Assistant your main responsibilities will be to ensure that the purchase ledger procedures are carried out in accordance with the company standards.

To provide general assistance in all areas of the hotel finance function enabling the Hotel Financial Controller to provide timely and accurate financial information to Head Office and to local management. The Accounts Assistant will support the Hotel FC in maintaining sound control procedures, adhering to company policy in respect of administrative, control, accounting and legal matters and exercising proper management over all business assets.

We are able to offer up to 37.5 hours a week and are happy to discuss flexibility within this role. A formal accounting qualification would be desirable, but not essential.

The Cornwall started life In the late 1800s when a local banker built the grand White House as his family home, complete with rambling estate and Victorian walled garden. The property fell into disrepair during the late 20th Century before being brought back to life to reopen in 2010 as the stunning Hotel we know today.

Preserving much of the character and original features, today’s Cornwall Hotel & Spa is one of the county’s top accommodation providers, featuring a modern hotel extension and impressive spa in the converted stone barn.
