An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Officer within our Quality, Teaching and Learning department at the college. The post holder will support the delivery of the college’s Quality department. You will support improved outcomes for Learners in recruitment, attendance, success, employability and progression.

You will deliver efficiency savings to sustain financial viability and support investment. Reduce reliance on Welsh Government Funding and ensure achievement against funding targets. The successful postholder will deliver growth in the key priority areas identified by the college.

The role will require travel between all sites within the College. The role will require to work shift patterns to meet the needs of the core business in the evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

- The Quality Officer supports the provision of up-to-date, accurate and relevant data analysis for the organisation to support the attainment of Key Performance Indicators in line with Three Year Development Plan.
- Supporting the centralised College IQA Teams site and three annual Internal Quality Assurance audits including maintaining an up to date record of IQA documentation on the tracking document and reporting to and liaising with HODs / Lead IQAs following each audit to ensure all IQA documentation is uploaded on time.
- Support a Quality assurance process from curriculum planning though to claims and certification linking with relevant teams across college to ensure that we meet AO procedures. This will involve liaising with CBMs and Exams team.
- Supporting the coordination of the college complaints process including monitoring and supporting progress of recorded.
- Ensuring all new course proposals and approvals complete the required process and approval is gained from Awarding Organisations in a timely way to support advertising of courses at the earliest opportunities to support successful recruitment.
- Welsh language skills would be desirable for this role.

The successful applicant will have a sound educational background, good level of IT experience in Microsoft office and demonstrable commensurate experience within an administrative role. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh would be desirable but not essential.
