Our client is a well-established and highly regarded educational institution located in the vibrant community of Harrow. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of educators. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Job Description: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within our school. You will work closely with experienced teachers to provide assistance in the classroom, create engaging learning resources, and provide one-on-one or small-group support to students. This position will give you hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop your teaching skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring they meet the needs of individual students and promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, offering guidance and reinforcement of key concepts.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt learning resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Support the teacher with classroom management, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to students on their progress, assisting in the assessment and tracking of their academic achievements.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
- Contribute to the overall school life by participating in extracurricular activities and school events.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Adaptable and proactive mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of educational theories and practices.
- Experience working with children or young people, either in a professional or voluntary capacity (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
