Our passion and drive throughout is producing our farm produce offering family meals, boasting an extensive delicatessen and a 140-seater Restaurant. A family run business maintaining 60+ staff members. We Farm - Beef Cattle, Lamb, Poultry and Egg. Food traceability being key to winning our customer fan base.

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to join our busy team.

**Essential**:

- HACCP experience
- Food Safety Level 2
- Allergen Awareness
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems & HACCP
- Experience with Nutritics (or other Food Data Management System)
- Experience with Environmental Health Officers (EHO)

**Desired**:

- BRC / EC Approved Plant Experience

**Skills**
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Liaising and working as a team with our chefs and butchers
- Professional telephone manner
- Fast paced environment

**Roles & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)**:

- Maintain accountabilities for all operations related to HACCP, hygiene, food safety, health and safety, and environmental health.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards along with implementing corrective actions based on audit findings, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and advisory services and schedule audits, inspections, calibrations & meetings as required.
- Training staff internally for inhouse Food Safety Training & Induction Training
- Document Control - maintain paperwork and create product specifications and amending as required.
- Managing of food labelling using Nutritics, collating recipes and managing allergen information.
- Creating & printing labels for traceability
- Collection of sampling for microbiological testing as per schedule

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
