We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic CCTV Operator to join our dynamic team on a Permanent basis. This role is perfect for anyone who is looking to stay within the Security industry or looking to start a new career in Security.

The role of a CCTV Operator is interesting and varied, you are responsible for protecting our customers property, people and/or assets by providing security services to a specific site in direct accordance with the customers assignment instructions. You will assist with the organisation of all security personnel throughout their shift in support of the Line Manager. Operating CCTV and images adhering to the site code of practice and responsible for creating and distributing CCTV images.

The role of CCTV Operator will consist of many responsibilities such as monitoring and management of appearance, behaviours of all Security personnel, actively encourage staff recognition, make sure all incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.

You will also assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve
service effectiveness. There is also opportunities to help with technology enhancement conducting operational tests and that users are fully compliant

On a daily basis you will be monitoring faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly and being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.

**Essential Skills**:
You may have a background of working in a contact centre or in a security role. If you have experience of working with customers over the phone and have an interest in technology this is the role for you.

You should be confident, articulate, proficient in the use of technology and be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

**Desired Skills**:

- An SIA CCTV licence
- A good understanding of computer software and packages, but we can help you as long as you have an interest in learning
- Good Site knowledge.
