About the role

We are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to work in the Commercial practice area who enjoys writing technical guidance and precedents, working within a team environment and interacting with key stakeholders across and outside the business.

This is a key role within the UK Commercial team, developing and maintaining online practical guidance, insight and materials for commercial lawyers operating in law firms and in-house. You will be joining a high-functioning team, producing an established market-leading product that covers a range of practical guidance know-how including agency and distribution, supply chain management, collaboration agreements, advertising and marketing, e-commerce and contractual joint venture arrangements.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining practical guidance, tools and templates for commercial lawyers. The primary objective is to deliver indispensable content that our customers love. To do that, you will need to keep your finger on the pulse of developments in commercial law and engage with commercial lawyers in law firms and those in the in-house market.

**Responsibilities**:
- create, develop, and maintain a market-leading content set for the Commercial guidance module— devising and writing practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts and other materials- monitor developments relevant to our customer base- work closely with LexisPSL Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering, providing news and analysis of the highest quality, and tailored to the needs and expectations of commercial lawyers- engage proactively with customers and contacts in the market to understand what they need from us and keep up-to-date with developments in practice- assist with customer questions via customer feedback or the LexisAsk service and develop Q&A materials- work proactively with other Lexis®PSL practice areas and the wider business

**Requirements**:
- excellent knowledge of commercial law- experience of working in a leading private practice law firm or a FTSE company law-
- excellent research, organisation and planning skills, and a strong drive and ability to meet challenging objectives and deliverables- ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others, adopting a can-do attitude- a proactive approach, taking responsibility for continually developing and expanding areas of expertise, skills and knowledge- excellent IT skills
