**The role**

Biocomposites continues to experience dramatic growth, realising our mission to increase the number of patients we can help, by extending our market coverage in new specialties and new geographies.

The Production Planner is responsible for scheduling all production runs, including new products. The production planner must be able to convert forward looking demand into effective schedules, evaluating demand and component supply. They will also monitor production status and identify any shortages or bottlenecks that may arise.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the coordination of production workflow for multiple products, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Research & Development (R&D) requirements.
- Administer all necessary aspects of ERP & QMS from PO to release of product, ensuring manufacturing have document sets available for scheduled batch start times.
- Plan and prioritise production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay whilst meeting the demand plan.
- Plan the Production and NPI sterilisation in coordination with customer services to ensure customer demands are met.
- Determine appropriate manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demands.
- Monitor the adherence of the schedule to ensure they will finish on time and report exceptions or variations.
- Act as point of contact for manufacturing projects from a production scheduling requirement, including NPI scheduling.
- Responsible for the coordination of the Sales & Operational Planning activities
- Ad hoc support duties as required in Operations.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Level 4 Certificate, preferably in Manufacturing / Business Management
- 3+ years proven experience as a demand production planner in a pharmaceutical /medical device manufacturing
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Team player
- Ability to achieve deadlines and demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
