Otter Homecare is a new home care company based in Trowbridge, **providing bespoke Night Care services to people living throughout Wiltshire and Somerset**.

We currently have opportunities for Waking Nights and Sleeping Nights Carers to join our team.

Our vision is to always provide the highest quality care to the elderly and those in need. But what does it take to become a Care Assistant? No prior experience needed, however, some form of personal or professional experience is preferred.

**As a Care Professional you will typically provide care and support to our clients with the following duties**:

- Light housekeeping.
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Helping with the preparation of nutritious meals.
- Help administer and schedule prescribed medications.
- Run errands where required, such as grocery shopping and prescription collection.
- Support with safe movements and support with any prescribed exercises.
- Provide companionship and social interaction.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social events or other outings.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.

**Our Care Assistants benefit from**:

- £11.50ph weekday sleeping nights (10 hour shift)
- £12.50ph weekend sleeping nights (10 hour shift)
- £14.00ph weekday waking nights (10 hour shift)
- £15.50ph weekend waking nights (10 hour shift)
- Petrol paid at 45p per mile
- Paid induction and training
- DBS costs refunded after passing probation
- Fully funded diplomas in health and social care
- Choose from full-time, part-time or bank work
- Contracts with minimum guaranteed hours available

**Requirements of our Care Assistants**:

- Full, UK driving licence with access to your own reliable vehicle
- Working availability from 8am - 3pm OR 4pm - 9pm, including alternate weekends
- Authorisation to work in the UK and currently living in the country, local to this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£15.50 per hour
