**General**

Duties will involve vehicle loading/unloading of our specialist equipment for onward delivery, installation, commissioning and operational demonstration at our customers' premises, nationwide.

As this is a manual role you must be physically fit; as duties will involve occasional heavy lifting. You must possess a good level of practical skills; ideally including some knowledge of basic delivery / installation techniques, although specific product training will be provided.

Good communication skills are required. Maintaining a professional attitude and smart appearance, with a desire to provide excellent customer service whilst representing the company as our direct physical point of contact is an important aspect of this role.

Flexibility is required as the role may entail early starts, late finishes and on very rare occasions only, weekend work.

This is a permanent full-time position, entailing a minimum 40 hours, 5 days per week Mon-Fri. There will also be ample opportunity for overtime during busy periods.

**Functions in Detail**
- Loading, delivering, unloading and installing equipment to our customers in a safe and timely manner within legal H&S and company directives / policies.
- Install, commission and demonstrate a wide array of equipment, ensuring the installation is completed to our proven high standards to customer’s satisfaction.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and handling queries from customers; recording and informing the management of any findings/feedback.
- Reviewing and completing documentation (paper and / or electronic) before and after delivery to ensure that orders are accurate and complete, whilst also ensuring full customer satisfaction.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving and vehicle records.

Accurate completion of all company documentation including debriefs, time records and general checklists.

**Other duties will include**:
General warehouse duties/tasks.

Completion of PDI’s prior to equipment despatches.

Steam cleaning of equipment & vehicles.

Any other duties which may be deemed to form or contribute to the operation of the department.

In times of holiday, sickness or absence and following proper training, you may be required to cover the basic duties or other roles or functions within the department.

**Skills and qualifications**:
Essential
- Full clean UK Driving Licence.
- IT operating systems conversant.
- Verbal & written communication skills.
- Reliability and excellent time management.
- Ability to maintain high levels of working standards and productivity whist working unsupervised/lone working.

Desirable
- C1 UK Driving Licence including Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Forklift licence.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and checks.
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 1 certificate.
- Customer service experience/qualification.
- Health & safety knowledge/experience.

Office Located / Standard days based on: 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. (Inc. 1-hour unpaid breaks), however flexibility will be required of exact hours of work depending on delivery scheduling.

General tool kit for required works.

Internal/External training where required in order to complete standard duties.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
