CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Neurodevelopmental team. In this role, you will have opportunities to work with an experienced team with wide-ranging clinical expertise, and to gain direct experience of working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders (autism spectrum disorder, learning disability and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

You will be supervised by a qualified Psychologist and we will provide the necessary support to ensure development within the role.

**In this role, your main duties will include**:

- To contribute to the clinical work and service development within the Neurodevelopmental team with a particular focus in the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) pathway
- To support with assessment of ASD and interventions with young people diagnosed with ASD
- Assist in gathering information and analysis of information from clinical records
- Participate in MDT meetings
- Support CAMHS colleagues with internal and external training and group work
- Assist in clinically related administration, conducting audits, collecting data and statistics, development of audit and/or research projects

This post is for an Assistant Psychologist to be part of a multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team (CAMHS), with a particular remit to contribute to the clinical work and service development within the Neurodevelopmental Team (Autism Spectrum Disorder pathway). The post-holder will be closely supervised by a qualified applied psychologist and the post will have varied responsibilities.

Main Tasks,

**Responsibilities**:
1. To be part of the CAMHS team with a specific remit to work alongside colleagues to support the assessment of ASD and interventions with young people who have been diagnosed with ASD.
2. Assist in the gathering of information and analysis of information from clinical records.
