We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity and respect. **Responsibilities**:

- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Supporting residents with mobility and transferring, using safe and appropriate techniques.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitoring residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the care team.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undertake medication training.

Experience of administration of medication would be an advantage, however training will be given and this will be reflected in an increase of your hourly rate to £11.50.

Minimum NVQ level 2 is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.90-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
