Senior Operations Clerk

As a Senior Operations Clerk at Blackthorne you will be joining our highly skilled Operations team in Thorpe to facilitate imports, exports and cross trade shipments in close liaison with staff in our overseas offices, our international agents and of course our clients. The ability to work pro-actively with the tenacity to see each job through to delivery, despite challenges specific to each territory, is a necessity, along with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
This is not the usual run of the mill forwarding as we work in a Hi Tech area; we service the largest global IT and networking companies with their logistics requirements end to end. The job involves not just arranging freight but also assessing for export and import licences as most goods are controlled. We offer Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) services worldwide as well as non IOR/EOR shipments.
**Salary**: £38,000.00 per year
