Are you an ambitious Compliance Officer looking for a full-time role in a fast growing technology company? Do you have a good knowledge of technology and security standards and how they can be applied effectively within a company? Can you engage the businessto ensure buy-in with our compliance standards?

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role will be to ensure we maintain a secure, compliant and efficient framework for the provision of our services to customers.

You will work with teams across the business to maintain our accreditations as well as ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and employ good governance for public and private sector customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain compliance with ISO27001, ISO9001, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK GDPR, IT Health Check, Public Services Network (PSN) and HSCN/CNSP obligations, as well as any other Standards required by the company
- Work with customers to provide assurance around policies and frameworks to comply with contractual requirements and manage customer audits and information requests
- Hold the role of Data Protection Officer for ISO and customer requirement purposes
- Create, maintain and monitor the Operational and Strategic Risk Registers, reporting to Head of Operations and the Commercial Director for input by the Senior Leadership Teamand develop remediation plans
- Work with the Heads of teams to create robust controls in line with company policies, standards, procurement frameworks, legal and regulatory obligations, industry good practice and UK Government guidance
- Maintain good knowledge of all standards and obligations for which we are involved in, keeping informed about changes and improvements, and providing guidance
- Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure continuous improvement across the technology environment and ensure any incidents are analysedto ensure prompt action is taken to prevent reoccurrence and strengthen relevant cyber security controls
- Develop a programme of continuous learning for employees across the company with regards to standards and compliance
- Manage external consultants to support with internal audits and compliance activities, and manage external audits
- Any other activities to support our compliance practices

**Role Minimum Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of management of standards in a technology company
- Superb verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management to engage colleagues, manage contractors and auditors and develop an environment of continuous improvement and incident response
- Highly self-motivated and action-oriented individual with a strong result driven mentality
- Good working knowledge of ISO 27001/27002/9001 and ISMS creation/maintenance
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of implementation of standards within similar sized companies
