**The vacancy**

Do you love being outdoors? We are looking for new **GARDENING TEAM MEMBERS** to join us. You will work as part of team of 2-3 people providing gardening services at prestigious sites throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and North London. Our client sites vary from residential gardens (of all sizes) through to commercial and public spaces such as business parks, corporate offices and places of historic interest.

On a day-to-day basis your job will include:

- digging, planting and weeding flower beds and borders.
- looking after lawns.
- tidying overgrown shrubs and trees and clearing paths.
- controlling pests that damage plants.
- using equipment safely, like lawn mowers and hedge trimmers.

**What do I need?**
- As a starting point, we want to see your excitement and passion for beautiful gardens, nature and being outdoors.
- You’ll be willing to learn about growing and caring for plants.
- Excellent teamworking skills and timekeeping are important.
- Communication is key as you’ll be representing The Garden Company to our clients.

Please note that we are based in a semi-rural location with limited public transport to reach the yard. Our work vehicles will be available during the day and a (manual) driving licence is essential. You also need to be aged 18-plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
