Software Trainer

Software Trainer is required to join a vibrant and growing insurance organisation based in the heart of the city/ hybrid working. Within this role you will work within a team providing user training for a combination of off the shelf and bespoke systems.This opportunity would ideally suit someone with some training experience or an experienced IT support person or customer care professional looking to move into a training role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning, creation and delivery of IT systems and other projects as required both via classroom and virtual
- Maintain accurate training records/MI
- Maintenance of first line user support help functions
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and other organisations to search out areas for Business training support
- Ability to assess individual and group needs
- Research (where required), plan and prepare/update new/existing materials
- Make use of new technology for delivery
- Conduct post training assessments to identify areas of improvement and transfer of knowledge

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Prior training delivery experience (classroom and virtually)
- Essential - Microsoft Office (Incl. Teams/O365) to advanced level
- Experience of creating/maintaining eLearning (preferably on Adobe Captivate and DAS style platforms)
- Good communicator
- Attention to detail
- Highly organised, with good planning/time management skills
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Able to positively react to change.
- Resilient and calm under pressure.
- Team player - able to build sustainable relationships
- Insurance knowledge preferred
