Plant Fitter / Great package / Permanent / Full-time

**_Recra are working in partnership_** with a multi-site well established waste management Group, this role is based within their Leicester site, they are keen to add a Plant Fitter who has some electrical capabilities to join their fast paced team.

**Overview-**
To maintain the mobile Plant equipment.

Measured by: Speed and success of defect repairs.

Success of early detection and correction of issues.

Minimising cost of maintenance.

**Hours-**
7am - 4pm Monday-Friday / 9am-6pm Monday to Friday (Rotating)
6am -11am Every other Saturday

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities-**
- Being responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) actions. Mobile plant - fork-lift trucks, material re handlers, loading shovels, telehandlers and shredders, checks and defect reporting / correction o Audits of operational status by walk around checks
- Ensuring PPM documentation is completed as required
- Finding and fixing faults
- Daily liaison with other members of the site teams to provide information and ensure they are aware of any issues
- Helping maintain the store of production/safety critical spare parts
- Replacing worn parts and re-setting instrument controls
- Responding to emergency breakdowns
- Good level of general, practical maintenance skills in hydraulic, diesel engine and adr / AdBlue faults
- Communicate and provide information on your work activities to the plant supervisor.
- Reporting any deficiencies or difficulties to your manager and developing long-term corrections.
- To undertake any other reasonable task as instructed. Personal Profile

- Total flexibility & someone keen to learn/progress/muck in.
- Tenacious, resilient, rapid problem solver
- Good oral communications and written note keeping
- Team layer and able to follow verbal instructions
- Methodical and concise in ensuring the PPMS is complete
