The purpose of the job focuses on progressing and leading on improvements in
the quality and safety of commissioned and directly delivered mental health
and learning disability services across Powys through compliance with essential
standards, regulatory frameworks and ensuring learning from concerns
(Incidents, Complaints and Claims).

Develop, manage, and lead the implementation of the Mental Health, CAMHS &
Learning Disability Quality and Safety programme linked to the Health Board’s
Quality strategy and agenda.
Assist with the coordination and compilation of relevant reports to assist with
monitoring and enhancing its approach to the management of and agenda of
clinical quality & clinical safety. Participate and lead relevant daily and
professional reviews of incidents ensuring that Patient Safety Incidents are
escalated in a timely manner, producing an evidence-based report with
recommendations and actions to include close liaison with Coroners’ courts and
other relevant agencies
