**Responsibilities**:
**Surface Preparation**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing to ensure proper adhesion of paint or wallpaper.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials, such as plaster or putty, to create a smooth, even base.

**Painting and Decorating**:

- Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Execute decorative techniques such as marbling, graining, and stenciling as required.

**Color Matching**:

- Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and texture, ensuring consistency throughout the project.

**Quality Control**:

- Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections to achieve a flawless final result.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Properly handle and dispose of paint and other hazardous materials.

**Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, plasterers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality finishes within specified timelines.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in various painting techniques and finishes.
- Strong color sense and ability to match and blend paints.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting and decorating.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and construction.

**Communication**:

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

**Physical Fitness**:

- Ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and working at heights.
