**Purpose of the Role:
Uses industry experience and knowledge to provide detailed estimates for client projects, and
maintenance renewal contracts, including cost estimates, work time estimates, and overall
customer satisfaction. Maintains existing client contracts and continuously seeks out new clients
and estimating opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery your duties will be varied and will include but not
be limited to the following:
- Research and preparation of quotations relating to maintenance contracts and remedial

repair works identified from service enquiries.
- Following company standards and procedures when analysing and providing estimations;
focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction, while minimising any potential risks to
the company.

Systems services to offer the best solution to the customer.
- Identifying where additional surveying of sites is required and visiting them, or arranging a

visit, to gather additional asset information.
- Produce professional quotations using the company standard format and costing tools whilst

having the commercial knowledge to successfully secure contracts at appropriate margins.
- Ensuring that quotations are completed within the set KPI’s.
- To help develop new maintenance sales opportunities by supporting colleagues within the

business surveying and quoting maintenance contracts where required.
- Increase opportunities and increase spend with existing customers / accounts.
- To acquire orders and achieve target sales volumes and margins from new business targets

and new accounts.

Systems services to offer the best solution to the customer.
- Prompt and accurate response to internal/ external enquiries to prevent them from escalating

into complaints, escalating to the Management Team where appropriate.
- Undertake general administration duties relevant to your position including data entry and
- Be professional and customer focused at all times.
- Be prepared to provide assistance to the Service Team when required.

from time to time.

**Information Gathering**
- Know Customers objectives, KPI’s and strategy and ensure they are aligned and viable.
- Consult potential customers in defining solutions according to their needs.
- Identify customers decision matrix, processes, operations, systems and technologies

**Quotations**
- Deal with incoming enquiries and extract relevant information to develop maintenance renewal

proposals, as well as remedials quotations
- Produce professional quotations using the company standard format and costing tools whilst

having the commercial knowledge to successfully secure contracts at appropriate margins.

**Reporting**
- Prepare weekly activity plans and reports
- Prepare monthly reports and accurate forecasting in requested format
- Regularly update SimPro and ensure all data is stored in line with company policy

**Market Knowledge and Education**
- Remain informed on developments in technology and solutions for the Senseco portfolio,

competitor’s offerings and industry wide.

**Team Role**
- Work and Collaborate with Team members with customer related tasks/knowledge

development.

**Team Role**
The role may identify additional sales opportunities and the work flow is based on the following:

- New migration sales / lifecycle replacement leads sent to and owned by “Lifecycle” BDM
- Small projects sales leads sent and owned by “Minor projects” BDM

The role will not be paid or commissioned against the above additional works, but their input will be
recorded and where relevant a reward will be agreed.

**Educational Requirements
**- Minimum 5 GCSE’s at A to C grade
- FIA (or recognised certified) Training course on Fire Detection and Alarm systems (optional)
- Structured Sales Training / Experience

**outstanding sales ability in an alternative / aligned business sector)
**- Technologies - Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, EVCS, PAVA, Suppression Systems
- Technologies - Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, Security
- Standards - Understanding of relevant British Standards

**Experience:
- Experience in a range of business situations
- 2-5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry in a sales / estimating / customer facing

- Driven and self-motivated with the flexibility
