Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: Cheshire - Hybrid with potential for remote

Contract: Temporary Fixed Term (3 months), 37 Hours Per Week

Rate: £13.18 - £16.41 per hour

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Cheshire for a Senior Payroll Administrator. The post holder will provide administrative, technical and supervisory support across a comprehensive range of personnel activities.This will ensure that personnel/admin processes, information management, pay administration and contractual correspondence with employees are all delivered in accordance with Transactional Service Centre (TSC) standards, objectives and statutory requirements.

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of policy interpretation, business procedures, employment law, statutory legislation and pension scheme regulations are essential and would your preferable within a local authority setting.
- Experience of supervising staff to include allocating and monitoring workloads would also be essential in this role.
- An understanding of Unit 4 HR and Payroll and relevant experience of delivering timely and accurate payouts would be advantageous.
- A high level of literacy and numeracy would be essential attributes for this position.
