**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Support the development and delivery of strategic category management.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that service specifications, procurement evaluation criteria and assessment processes are fit for purpose and will result in the effective procurement of individual services.
- Support delivery against an annual procurement delivery plan in line with the organisations objectives to support Acute, Community and Mental Health Trusts for collaborative and independent projects.
- Manage a rolling workplan capturing and managing procurement intentions for a range of NHS organisations.
- Drive change and innovation within NHSCS, to deliver commercial excellence across the region. This will be achieved by focusing on: Improving stakeholder benefit and advantage through new solutions.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- CIPD Qualification or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Temporary Staffing Solution
- Familiarity with UK and EU legislation/law within procurement
- An understanding of public procurement and the commercial world
- Experience in contract management, resolving queries and influencing people.
- Experience of project managing activities including initial planning to contract award and monitoring.
- Track record and experience of customer relationship management and supplier relationship management.
