Our new Chair will work closely with the Chief Executive, as we continue to focus on the medium and long term sustainability of the Trust, recover from the disruption and challenges caused by Covid-19 and ensure that the right care is delivered to our patients in a timely, high quality and appropriate way. We know that to achieve this we need to ensure that we have the right culture in our organisation and that our staff feel supported and empowered when at work; our new Chair will have a key role in ensuring we continue to embed our values across the organisation.

As an experienced board director, you will understand the challenges of leading a large, complex public facing organisation. You will be skilled at building effective teams, encouraging change and innovation and shaping an open, inclusive and compassionate culture, which champions diversity at all levels. You will bring experience leading and delivering long term vision and strategy, have an unwavering focus on staff and patients and be committed to engaging our local population and to collaborating with our stakeholders across the health and care system.
