Structural Inspector

Electrical Testing Ltd (ETL) is offering an excellent opportunity for eager individuals to join our Structural Inspector Operative Training Programme. This unique opportunity will provide you with a comprehensive training experience to equip you with specialist skills within the street lighting industry.
- **This role is covering the area of Kent, East Sussex, Hampshire and South London.**_

**Training Structure**:
Following your classroom training, you will transition to a two-week, on-site experience in a live working environment. Here, you will be paired with another trainee and benefit from the support of our site supervision team and trainer.

Once our supervision team are confident in your ability, attitude, and competency, you will receive your personal work assignments and formally commence as a Structural Testing Operative for ETL.

**Post-Training Responsibilities**:
Upon completion of your training, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Visual and structural testing of street lighting assets. **Acting in accordance with all company and legislative Health & Safety requirements. ** Accurately recording structural test results on a mobile tablet. **Updating inventory information on assets using a mobile tablet. ** Completing daily vehicle checks. **Ensuring the public is well-informed of works and safeguarded from potential hazards due to works being undertaken.**
- We are seeking individuals who possess:

- Good levels of IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid full UK Driving License.
- The ability to work independently.
- A good level of physical health and fitness.
- Willingness to work and stay away from home on a regular basis.
- Flexibility in approach to work in all weather and conditions.
- Flexibility regarding work location.
- Openness to working during the night if required.
