Resilience Fire Crew

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local County Council in Oxfordshire, for Resilience Fire Crew members to provide additional support to firefighting operations as part of the contingency arrangements for each fire and rescueservice.
RFC personnel will receive basic training that will enable them to prepare, set up and operate equipment in support of firefighting operations. The role will involve responding to emergency calls, minimising loss of life, injury and damage to property, managingemergencies until they are resolved. These emergencies will be varied and will include fires and road traffic collisions.
All activities, both during training and any periods of operational deployment, will be carried out under supervision. All roles will be provided with all necessary training personal protective equipment (PPE).
The successful applicants will have the physical ability to carry out the role of RFC, including adequate stamina and strength, as well as the skills and behaviours to work with and support diverse communities and teams.
This is a Monday to Friday role working a total of 37 Hours.
