**About The Role**:
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter To work as a team responsible for checking deliveries and quality of goods. To comply with company and client policies of quality and standards of excellence at the unit.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours are between 8:00am till 4:00pm.

Main Duties:

- To comply with company and client policies of quality and standards of catering at the unit, with a group of commitment to excellence policy
- To carry out all aspects within the kitchen and stores area ensuring that company standards is met
- Maintain unit health and safety, and hygiene standards following current legislation
- Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy
- Receive and check deliveries and relocate them to the appropriate storage area, i.e. fridge, freezer etc
- Assist in preparation of vegetables when required
- Carry out general cleaning duties in the kitchen

**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- To be able to work on there own using initiative and to carry through tasks form start to finish
