Car Mechanic

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Car Mechanic / Car Builder / Fabricator to join our growing team.

We have a dedicated and forward-thinking team of design, development and production engineers who have worked together for over 30 years and been responsible for bringing a great number of well-known and highly acclaimed products to the marketplace

As manufacturers of hand crafted super cars, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who works well under pressure, with excellent attentional detail.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Completing own preparation as allocated, in relation to job card
- Assembly of vehicles prior to and on completion of work
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
- Adhere to a high level of personal presentation
- Maintain the workshop in a clean and professional way
- Ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained correctly, and any defects are reported
- Be familiar with and work to the company’s health and safety standards
- To comply with all company policies and procedures
- Support other departments where required

**Skills Required**:

- Able to work with sheet aluminium
- Skilled in metal fabrication
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Welding experience (including MIG and TIG) would be desirable but not essential

- Energetic, proactive, calm under pressure, highly personable, and mature personality
- Strong team worker, ability to thrive in a small closely knit and dedicated team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility - must be prepared to work longer hours when occasionally required

**Hours of Work**:

- Full time: Mon-Fri, 8.00 to 5.00

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
