About the Role
**_ This role is a one year fixed-term contract._**
What You Will Do
- Assist in the development of architectural designs and drawings for new building projects using software such as Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
- Update and maintain architectural documentation and drawings for existing buildings within our campuses, ensuring they are accurate and reflect current conditions.
- Collaborate with the Architectural Technologist and Head of Architecture and Design to understand project requirements and contribute to the design process.
- Prepare detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documents.
- Utilise the Adobe Suite to prepare presentation materials and visualisations to communicate design concepts.
- Ensure all architectural drawings and documents are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to gather information and resolve any potential design conflicts.
- Maintain an organised archive of all architectural drawings and documents.
About You
- Holds a Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Knowledge and understanding of the drawings and change control process. Working alongside the design manager and projects team produce.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and understanding of how to develop designs to meet changing demands and requirements within the industry.
