Our client is a well-established and growing business with impressive offices near
Thame. They have a new permanent requirement within their business for a Senior
Supply Chain Planner.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the key responsibilities are:

- Being the link between customer service(demand), operations, supply

chain team, and suppliers.
- As a raw material planner, ensuring accurate planning of components,

based on demand.
- Planning and executing procurement of raw materials from global

suppliers.
- In partnership with IT, as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) support

implementation of correct MRP procedures in ERP system to translate
Finished Goods demand into component demand for raw material
planning.
- Updating essential system planning data for components to ensure our

system is effectively planning future requirements.
- Maintaining excellent relationships and communications with

manufacturing, and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping
schedules, and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on
- time deliveries.
- Using Analytics and planning procedures to determine the accurate level

of safety stock needed for components and Finished Goods to avoid
stockouts while balancing the same with costs.
- Driving a culture of innovation and implement best practices in Planning.
- Supporting the supply chain team to implement cost savings initiatives
- through process improvements, alternate material, and supplier sourcing.- Completing special projects and assignments as requested.
- Supporting the rollout of new customer programs/products as needed by

ensuring establishment of new supply partners in local/global markets to
support demand.
- Providing a wide range of solutions to complex supply chain challenges.

must have a keen eye for detail, be an excellent communicator that is comfortable
negotiating, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You should have strong
analytical skills and be comfortable using ERP systems and Excel.

On offer is a salary of 42-48k, good benefits, as well as some hybrid working.
